Start in Ponta Delgada with a hearty octopus dish at Tã Gente. Next, hop on a boat tour for dolphin and whale watching. Back in town, get a feel for Azores' history with a brief city tour and climb Ponta Delgada Bell Tower for sweeping views. Visit Mercado da Graça (local food market) for cheese and pineapples, then stroll to Rocha da Relva for sunset. End with dinner at either Lapsa Garden with its sunset views or Restaurante Alcides for their renowned fried beef with garlic.

Start with breakfast, then visit Janela do Inferno for a forest walk to the cave waterfall. Next, drive to the Lagoa do Fogo's bright blue volcanic crater and consider a hike to its base. Nearby, unwind in Caldeira Velha's natural hot springs, set against a waterfall backdrop. A short drive takes you to Salto do Cabrito's jungle waterfall for a swim. On sunny days, hit Praia de Santa Bárbara for surfing or relax at TukáTulá Beach Bar with tea and seafood tacos. End the day with a delightful meal in town, with Taberna Açor as a top pick.

Dive into adventure with a local canyoning tour at Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões, amidst lush forests and cascading waterfalls. Post-adventure, recharge at a nearby café.

Spend your afternoon at the sandy shores of Praia Pequena de Água d'Alto or Praia da Pedreira. Optionally, explore Quatro fábricas da Luz, a quaint village, and stroll to the historic Fábrica da Vila power station, passing jungle waterfalls en route. Catch panoramic views at Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Paz overlooking Vila Franca do Campo.

Cap the day with a local triditional Cozido meal at Restaurante Tony's or venture to the seaside Restaurante Ponta do Garajau in Ribeira Quente.

Begin at Miradouro de Santa Iría for sweeping views of the northern coast and the deep blue Atlantic. Unwind at Praia dos Moinhos beach before heading to Cha Gorreana Tea Factory. Delight in Europe's renowned tea, its unique flavor enriched by the volcanic soil.

Conclude your day with a rejuvenating soak at Poça da Dona Beija's natural hot springs.
